“Malignant Hyperthermia (MH): New Insights and Connections

with Other Myopathies”

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of SUNY Upstate Medical University and the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States (MHAUS).  SUNY Upstate Medical University is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

SUNY Upstate Medical University designates this educational activity for a maximum of 13.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) (TM).  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The purpose of this conference is to allow clinicians and scientists to share data in an effort to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and management of MH-susceptible patients.

Poster Presentations -  Deadline for submission of posters - April 9, 2010
Submission of abstracts for poster presentation by researchers and clinicians with an active interest in MH and related disorders is encouraged.  Please send abstract either by email to nicole@mhaus.org or mail to MHAUS PO Box 1069, Sherburne, NY, 13460.

Poster Guidelines :

2 feet by 3 feet in size
Heading at top with title, authors and affiliations
Letters should be readable from distance of at least 3 feet
Placed on thin, poster paper or similar weight material for posting on easels with push pins 

Abstracts submitted after March 15th and until Friday, April 9, 2010 will be included in conference syllabus.
